Akshaya Patra Bags the Gold at ARC 2014

ARC awards

The Akshaya Patra Foundation won Gold at the 2014 ARC Awards, for the ‘Foundation’ section of the Non Traditional Annual Reports category. Out of over 2,000 entries from 31 countries, the top 30 per cent scoring reports were selected to be chosen for Gold, Silver, Bronze and Honour rewards.

The annual reports were selected based on certain criteria like the ability to effectively communicate the organisation’s story, level of creativity, clarity of thought, and overall impact of presentation. The report is judged on some actuals such as the cover and interior design, clarity of information presented, the way financial information is presented, and how clearly the organisation’s spirit and principles have been put across.

The International ARC Awards was established by MerComm, Inc. in 1987, to produce a platform to recognise and push the boundaries of excellence in corporate communication. This globally recognised competition has seen entries from corporations, non-governmental agencies, government agencies, small companies, other agencies, and individuals.

The ARC Awards is now in its 28th year of honouring excellence in corporate communications. By choosing The Akshaya Patra Foundation to receive this prestigious award, the organisation has been globally recognised for the outstanding creativity and quality it has maintained in its communications collateral, and given Akshaya Patra the impetus it needs to keep striving for bigger milestones in the future.
